About the Industry Intens-ive
The Koin & Co Summer Intens-ive is just that - intense - designed to push, challenge & GROW dancers within an extremely versatile schedule!
Every summer since 2016, Koin & Co proudly closes out the last week or weekend of July with the only elite, professional summer intens-ive offered for young dancers in New York City. What makes Koin & Co’s summer intens-ive stand out & set us apart from the rest? The K&C Intens-ive is unique in it’s kind, as the faculty is diverse in ALL genres, not focused on just one syllabus (ie; ballet, movement or street styles) which makes the faculty line-up unbeatable. The days are long & filled to the brim with educators, classes, seminars & more to best grow each dancer as a human & an artist. The intens-ive is not for the faint-hearted or recreational dancer, but instead for the focused dancer, ready to grow & build their professional network. Koin & Co is never distracted by the coolest trend or newest viral educator, but instead carefully selects educators who are deeply rooted in the dance industry to provide safe spaces for minors whose sole focus is to build up each dancer.
Aside from providing top-notch training, the intens-ive structure has been created to benefit dancers physically, but mentally as well. Your dancer is not just a $$$ here at Koin & Co - each dancer gets a name tag with their name (not a number), lunch breaks are spent together in a large inclusive circle to ensure each dancer is making new connections & lastly, registration is capped to best ensure a successful learning experience for each dancer. The environment created with Koin & Co is geared towards the dancers gain, not the directors ego’s or status gain; whether you’re with us for summer or one of our full-time programs, Koin & Co is here to nurture & refine the next generation!
The Koin & Co Summer Intens-ive runs
Friday July 26th - Sunday July 28th 2024 @ Pearl Studios, NYC.
The faculty lineup includes a mix of the best East & West coast most prominent educators, who provide high-quality classes & reach every age/level. Dancers ages 13+ are invited to join & it is recommended that attending dancers have a solid foundation to an advanced beginner knowledge of most styles to ensure the best possible experience & ultimate growth.
